RE: Growing on a grade
gunghojoe I have about 800 plants on my 1/2 acre. Most of them were 'found' in the surrounding area. Keep your eyes open and you may find some wild bamboo patches. But remember always ask for permission from the owner to dig them up for transplant. This is how I have collected most of mine. Many peo...

So now I grow bamboo that likes the weather and dirt here and somewhat drier conditions of this part of the world. I p...

""I have found that it is good for something; using it for trading divisions of it for a bamboo that will grow in Florida. Poor thing, it desperately needs a good home, but I will hold it hostage till someone offers a trade. Poor thing...hint, hint...."" Quoted from Mike Best __...

RE: Moso Wanted
Hello bamboo4me I am in Texas between S.A. & Austin - hot but not too dry. We get occasional rains in the summer so it's semi-humid sometimes. I had a Moso I grew from a seed but I killed it. ????? I am going to try it again and see if that is possible. Some tropicals grow good here without to m...
