Butternut and Acorn are great cooked on the grill just slice in half and de-seed, sprinkel on a little brown sugar,cinnimon and a big pat of butter wrap in alum. foil and cook on the grill until they pierce easy with a toothpic,then procede to pig out and you can eat the skin, I do.

I had the same problem on my "Wamin" and found I had a fire ant mound it looked small on the surface but with a little mulch moved they were everywhere ant bait then kept it flooded with water and they either died or moved on but now I am getting some small shoots
