Wow, how old do you suppose that cactus is? Are those 2 flowers up near the top?

Wow.
That's the armiest saguaro I've seen, evah! I've been wanting to live in Arizona for years. Maybe I'll retire there, but a requisite would be being able to buy a house that has saguaro on the property. :)

Of course, it's not the best climate, humidity-wise, for bamboo, but mist irrigation would fix that.

Yes, those are actually seed pods forming, the blossom is the part that is shriveled and bent over on the top of the forming fruits.
