Any ideas?

Other plants we have or landscape elements like ponds.

Any ideas?

Post by needmore »

Have a weed/plant that of course will be easier to ID with photos - I'll work on that, but the foliage looks lily or spiderwort like but the flowers look like thin purple asters, flower pods look like poppies. Tall, close to 4 feet, flowers open in the AM sun, close in shade, foliage pale whitish green. It seems to be quite appealing to aphids.

Any ideas? Yeah, sucks not being able to post a photo but I'll work on that soon.

No, but thanks for the attempt! I've used several on-line plant ID sites and they all crapped out. This thing has the growth rate that suggests weed. Before they exploded they initially looked like a pale grass, now they are 4' tall and look more allium or lily-like. Flower petals are quite thin in that aster-like profile. I'm going to try to get my lovely roommate to get me a photo to post, my camera software does not work with the new op system and I am old school with no smart phone camera...
