Bamboo in SW. LittleRock, Ar.

Post by Jerry Hamilton »

Here is pics of some of the bamboo that is on some land that has come up for sale. I was told they are about 4 acres of bamboo growing. Where the tree fell it sure messed up the area. I didn't have anyway to measure the culms that are coming. Had to use my phone, didn't have the camera with me. A unplanned stop.[img][/img

from what I can see of the top of the small shoot in that middle photo, I would second the Henon vote. Very nice grove! it is amazing how quickly a grove can recover from mass tree fall damage. by next year, you wont even notice it.

just think of the money you can save on grocery bills... no more buying vegetables in the springtime....

Thats what I thought, also. Had to post some pics. Wish someone private owned it where it could be preserved. It is up for sale.

nice pics Jerry,

it shows what's possible in the area and I'm right with you on preservation, the land would make a nice park / walking trail.
