Newbie in the U.K. saying "hello"
Hi y'all, just stumbling in from the rain and hoping to learn a lot from here. Bananas are my real passion but the Bamboo's are catching up
, I seem to have accumulated about 20 species and have a terrible need for more
, and as there are a few names I recognise from elsewhere I can only think this is going to get worse

welcome!
there are several banana growers on this forum.
I would guess that before long your bananas will be jealous of how much time you are spending with the new bamboos.

Welcome
Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!

Thanks for the welcome everyone
, Damien I don't think I need any more temptation, I'm running out of room
. The current plans are for a Pitts White, Kew Beauty and a big hardy blue(probably a Borinda Papyrifera
) and that's the lot(although I really like some of the fargesia juizhaighou varieties
). If this Bamboo thing starts running in the direction it's already heading I'm going to be in trouble
