Newbie in the U.K. saying "hello"

Post by Grub »

Hi y'all, just stumbling in from the rain and hoping to learn a lot from here. Bananas are my real passion but the Bamboo's are catching up  , I seem to have accumulated about 20 species and have a terrible need for more , and as there are a few names I recognise from elsewhere I can only think this is going to get worse

welcome!
there are several banana growers on this forum.
I would guess that before long your bananas will be jealous of how much time you are spending with the new bamboos.

Welcome :D
Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!

Thanks for the welcome everyone  , Damien I don't think I need any more temptation, I'm running out of room  . The current plans are for a Pitts White, Kew Beauty and a big hardy blue(probably a Borinda Papyrifera  ) and that's the lot(although I really like some of the fargesia juizhaighou varieties  ). If this Bamboo thing starts running in the direction it's already heading I'm going to be in trouble
