im after the lovely blue Borinda papyrifera here for a garden in south east london. Were do u suggest i buy one...... any ideas

You'll probably struggle to track one down, but you could try Pan Global Plants (collection only though). Mike Brisbane at Jungle Giants normally stocks this but they are micro-propped. Or you could just post on the forums and try and beg or buy a division.

It's not impossible to find but sometimes tricky as I think the places that do sell it still have a waiting list.

I remember reading something on the bamboos, that what we are calling "tissue culture" is not truly tissue culture, but micropropagation. I cant remember the difference betwixt the two, but that is what he is refering to.

Correct. Micropropagation can be defined as:- growing plants from seed or small pieces of tissue under sterile conditions in a laboratory on specially selected media.
