Koi color change

A while ago someone had a question about whether aurea 'Koi' culms were yellow at sheath fall or if they were at first green and shifted to yellow. Here are some pics to illustrate how the culms start out green and then shift to yellow with the green stripes. The first pic was taken just after sheath fall in April, the other 2 were taken today of the same plant:
