Some one has asked about my black B. textils image. That's a picture of Bambusa textilis that had grown in almost 100 percent shade, then with the trees cut back, the culms were in full Florida SunCoast sun for 12 plus hours a day. The culms did turn out to be a beautiful black, but that was only a one time event.
