I have 2 hectare land in the Philippines which I need to fence off so I can start farming vegetable crops. I don't have the budget for fencing it at the moment but in the meantime while I am waiting for the savings, I'm thinking of growing bamboo for the posts of the fencing then run barbed wire between them. I'd like some advice on what species of bamboo would be best and the kind that won't cause problems in the future.
After I have fenced off the farm I'd also like to use the bamboo as timber for other construction needs of the farm.
The farm runs alongside a creek I plan to grow the bamboo along this creek to also prevent the creek from eroding the land.
What bamboo to grow for farm fencing?

Maybe Moso bamboo but I am sure Moso would cost more than some wooden posts but it would look better with bamboo
