Well go on to NOAA and find out about your location's rainfall average tempature in summer and winter. Coldest months average in respect to the -0.3c limit for Cs(_) locations.

My part of Indiana seems to be a Cfa climate, Mild Mid-Latitude, Humid subtropical, Mild with no dry season, hot summer.
You are a Zone 5/6.. which makes your average in winter contintential.
you = a (Dfb).

Cfa= would be like South Carolina, New Orleans, Northern areas of Florida
The map show us right on the edge of Cfa. Summers are definitely hot and our winters aren't real bad (usually).
Southern Indiana.

The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.

Do you have a month below -0.3c for an average? If so you cannot be classed as a Cs(x) location as it is not "mild" nor has dryness during the summer, you need a summer drought with heavy winter rainfall.

your zone 5/6 is part of Humid continental zone just as Toronto, Chicago... etc
You are Dw(x).

So here is the 'map' that CJW says tells me my 'zone climate'.
How can I see it? Where on the map am I?
I'm not under a blue X.
This guy Koppen spends all this time working out the numbers and figures
... then he makes this map that needs a scientist to figure out how to read it ....
How does that help the common man like me?
I still don't know the answer.
This is way past fuzzy math ... I think my eye sight is gone. 8) 8) 8)

(1846-1940) Koppen died long before the computer was invented.
This is a low res / simplified map.. this is a computer model for general use. Also there are higher resolution maps around that DO NOT look like this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K?ppen_cli ... sification

Koppen climate zones are ment as a general statement about the climate in a given area, this has since been modified to give more specific data.

Use the Koppen Climate primer, and look up your climate data via NOAA. Then tell me which classification suits your area.
