These were taken in Doerun, Ga.The mosa grove down the street was just icing on the cake.The largest we seen today was 4.75 and around , maybe 70 ft.Hope you all enjoy these as much as I did.

Mike, Enjoyed the photos, what are the different bamboos in your photos? How old is the mature Moso grove? What did you bring home? Now that you've seen the big ones, you're hooked.

rickw,the first 2 pics are dolca or dulca ,not sure on how to spell it.They are 4 yrs.old,the fellow said they will get 5" in d. and around 50 ft.Next 2 are the Anderson clone,not sure on how old these are but the young sections felt silky smooth.I am not 100%, but the 4 pic is a vivax.The last 4 are Mosa and that grove is at least 40 yrs.old he says.I have some pics on my phone taking some shots straight up and it is downright humbling.I counted 46 sections on one of the larger canes.It looked like the branches started at 40 ft. or higher maybe.I bought a 20 gal.pot of some of the first 2 pics and a (fig tree << )
