Here is a pic of my Allgold. Almost breathtaking color on this bamboo.

Just downloaded a new Android app, 'Camera Zoom FX'. Trying to get a feel for how to use these programs when taking pics with my phone.

Does anyone know a great application where you can manually adjust the zoom so you can pickup the forefront of the picture versus the camera auto adjusting to the background and blurring the forefront items that I would prefer to get the shot of?

I didn't even know there were zoom apps for Android, will need to check that out!

Brad -- do you find the Pl. akebono to be a "weak" plant? I had a potted specimen that just fizzled out and died by the end of the year (a couple years ago).

Dangit, Guys....now I have seen a few more I must add to the collection. Got to find out how to spin this one with the wife...lol

Not bamboo, but some of the prettiest variegation I have ever seen :) This is a mixed planting of Arundo donax 'Peppermint Stick' and Arundo donax 'Golden Chains':
