went to the zoo yesterday with my first grade daughter. Thought you all might enjoy.

They need to release those in the U.S. someday, like they did with ring-necked pheasants.

I'm gonna take a stab and say it's not a beaver?
Iowa,
If that is a fox, I'm sure your chickens won't be happy with your desire to populate the countryside with them.
Nate,
My two good Joshua tree seedlings died. Found out after it was too late that they don't like to be transplanted. I'd gladly take some more if you have any left.

They eat bamboo! Just one more thing to worry about wiping out your bamboo.Iowaboo wrote:They need to release those in the U.S. someday, like they did with ring-necked pheasants.
The Red Panda eats mostly bamboo. Like the Giant Panda, it cannot digest cellulose, so it must consume a large volume of bamboo to survive. Its diet consists of about two-thirds bamboo, but they also eat berries, fruit, mushrooms, roots, acorns, lichen, grasses, and they are known to supplement their diet with young birds, eggs, small rodents, and insects on occasion.

RE: Enemy #2
I know, but I plan to have so much that pandas, goats, rabbits, deer, and all the rest will have plenty and wildlife will abound. But don't worry Roy, if you don't want red pandas in your grove, you can stick with bamboo partridge.

Like Kyuzo (pictured above) in "The Seven Samurai," I've "...Killed (more than) two..." bamboos.
RE: Enemy #2
I wouldn't mind having red pandas munching the 'boo in my backyard. We'll just have a reason to plant more.
