Hey everybody,
I'm trying to figure out what (if anything) is wrong with my P. bisseti.
Assuming my link works, please look at the picture below and let me know what you guys think... could it be BaMV?

Is it possible that your bamboo has been too wet? I associate those spots with plants that are maintained too wet - particularly in container grown plants that are uppotted to big, too fast, they always stay too wet unless you are very careful. I do not recall seeing this on in-ground plants, but presently have the spots on a wet container plant.

Oh few! I was really worried there for a while that my only good source of bamboo was full of virus!
The plant is in the ground (since June 1st) but we've had such a hot dry summer I've been watering it everyday... obviously too much.
Thanks a million guys!

I've some stuff here with MV, new leaves always look great, slowly small light squares appear in the leaf and over time they darken up. If all the new leaves look good it'll be worth keeping an eye on.
Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!
