squirrels have removed the new shoot from my parker giant.
surely they know,..this means war! :twisted:

Orb weavers? do you mean those big yellow and black spiders?
Dudly go to the animal shelter an d pick out a playful mostly grown cat and feed it at the base of the parker. Smart squirrel will stay away dumb one will reduce your cat food bill.

i have orb weavers aplenty. thanks anyway :)
also two cats two beagles and a jack russell terrier.
the squirrels have numerical superiority.

Heck just feed that Jack Russle at the Boo that will take care of it. Ain't no respectable JR going to admit he(She) is out numbered by tree rats.

Yeah I have orb weavers making nests on the shoot tips again this year... Its my only pest issue so far this year.
