Would it be ethical to place landmines in my bamboo to aid in rabbit removal?
A rhizome I had planted actually put up a small culm which was at around 3' high and doing quite well. Till that freaking rabbit came along...
I'm wondering about these granules I have been putting out. Not as effective as I had originally thought.

I am with you there bigone5500!!!!
If the rabbits would eat the bamboo I would not be so mad....'BUT NOOOO!!!!
They just chew off the shoot and leave it lying then move on to the next....
Just got my air rifle sighted in this W/E.
Say goodbye BUGS!!!!

Are you sure it's a rabbit and not a squirrel?

Could be but I'm pretty sure it's rabbit. I've seen many rabbits running around the back yard.

Re: Landmines?
While I don't believe there would be an ethical issue with the Land Mines, they tend to be messy, if you make a mistake. A more economical solution would be some Fox Urin strategically located. you can buy it in a lawn and garden Store, or on line. If you are in a rainy area,( like we are in Florida,in the Summer), you can "treat" Cotton Balls, make a Foil cover for them and hang them with string.
