Vole/ Gophers & Rhizome Barriers
Hi! Do Rhizome Barriers also act as gopher control? I finally have a large piece of land and want to plant a running bamboo, but it's full of gophers or voles - haven't seen them personally. I won't use poison because of the dogs. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Re: Vole/ Gophers & Rhizome Barriers
While i suspect it may stop or redirect their tunneling in the places where it is installed, there is nothing stopping them from stepping over the top of the barrier to tunnel anew. In oter words I suspect it would discourage them for an indeterminate time, eventually they will get in, and because of the barrier may be apt to stay in and do more damage than if they were just passing thru so to speak.
