I updated the information on the auction site.

Dates
On-line
October 16th to 30th
Live
November 6th

How does the auction work?
The auction plants will be viewable as donations come in.
The web auction will then start on Saturday, October 16th and continue till Noon Pacific time on Saturday, October 30th.
The live auction will continue the bidding on November 6th at the Hilton DeSoto in Savannah, GA.

The current web bids will be given to the auctioneer and the maximum bids from the web will be given to a proxy. At the live auction the photos of the plant will be projected on a screen, the auctioneer will have a printout for each plant that contains the plant information and the current high web bid.
The live auction bidding will start with the high bid from the web and continue like a normal auction with a proxy bidding for the web bidder against the live bidders up to the maximum amount set by the web bidder.
At the end of the auction the results will be posted at the website within a couple of days and the winning bidders and donors will be emailed the results with payment information.
The donors will contact the winners for shipping information and payment.

There will also be a separate auction for plants brought to the live auction.

The information that we need from donors is the same as last year but we will need to know what plants will be sent to the live auction, they cannot ship to winners so plants at the live auction will not be in the on-line auction.
