So whats you favorite bamboo? Whats the next bamboo on your have to have list?

Favorite: Dendrocalamus minor 'Amoenus', or maybe B. chungii... I really like D. latiflorus 'Mei-nung'. G. maxima is also cool, as is B. lako. I guess pick any of those for my favorite.
Next: Bambusa sp. 'Nana' (on multiple waiting lists for this one) or B. emeiensis 'Viridiflavus'.

USDA Zone 6B (possibly 7A/7B/8A depending on who you ask around here, so I am sticking with the most conservative estimate for now)

I need to build a bigger and better privacy screen, so I hope to dig trenches along the borders of my property, fill them with water (kind of like a pond), and then completely plant them full of Lucky Bamboo. Unfortunately, finding that amount of Lucky boo needed isn't working too well for me here locally... Anyone know of any good sources for lucky boo?!!!

I don't necessarily have a favorite boo at this point, too new to the game. I do like the spotting on my very first boo (Ph. vivax "black spot/espresso") a lot. Since it was my first boo, I guess that can be my favorite!
I'd have to say the next boo for me is probably going to be one of Steve's suggestions after my "Haubrich" boo seems to not be very friendly for the work and price.
I'm starting to like the looks of Phyllostachys bambusoides 'Castillon' and Phyllostachys bambusoides 'Castillon Inversa' I don't have any bambusoides yet. I am liking the looks and description of Phyllostachys bambusoides 'Marliac' as well, though it is more expensive than the others (since it is slow growing apparently).
