I'm growing this here, and in our mild, damp winters once temps get below -6 it starts to suffer leaf burn, in most winters it's cut to the ground at around -8, but as always bounces back. The question is; it's listed as hardy to -17 in the species list and I'm just wondering what sort of growing conditions it needs to withstand these lows. I know there's a variation in regards to cold hardyness and growing conditions etc but this low seems pretty extreme
Edit- Has anyone managed to get one through a -17c winter.
