Today while I was looking at my Thamnocalamus tessalatus I heard a pop. Apparently I broke one of the large culms that was just about a foot tall. I nearly cried with disbelief. I was so excited to see how big it would get this year and this one is the one with the biggest diameter. Oh well it seemed like last year I got a second later round of shooting that was able to harden off for the most part before fall.
Oh Snap!
