I read that horse fert is better than cow fert. I know from experience that cow fert always has a ton of weed seed. I started using mushroom fert. It has no weed seeds. Does anyone have experience in the difference between horse and cow ferts?

Horse manure can be weedy too. It works fine, sometimes horse manure contains a lot of wood or straw bedding that raises its carbon/nitrogen level pretty high. Both types of manure benefit from aging/composting.

Can I throw in another contender? Turkey "pellets" or manure, properly composted is supposed to be the best you can use to what ive read.
