Hi I have 3 Phyllostachys Viridglaucescen bamboo which I planted 3 years ago to give me a screen at the bottom of the garden.

I have left them untouched apart from watering them to allow them to settle and establish but I think its time to prune them to hopefully improve growth and appearance, is it the right time of the year to prune and how much should I take off, any help and advise would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance Paul
