Another year, another bamboo installation. This one for a customer who wants a screen from what is becoming an increasingly busy dirt road.
Since three pictures is the maximum allowed, will continue in next post.

Re: Yet another bamboo installation
Planting continued, one thing that does not show up in pictures, divisions were heavily watered and "mudded in". A soaker hose was also added for ease of regular watering for the first season.

Looks good, nice work!
BTW - I don't seem to encounter a 3 photo limit in a post is that new or perhaps file size?

Thanks.
I have only ever been able to post 3 attachments on this forum. There is a notice in red print stating only 3 attachments allowed if I try to post a 4th.

Are you talking about using the below upload attachment? I use that and you can see lots of photos in a given post of mine, never seen the red warning?

Yes, I down size my photos and drag them into the attach files line. Have never been allowed to put in more than 3 images. The notice explicitly says only 3 attachments are allowed.

Strange, I've never hit a limit, I wonder if it is my site status settings Steve though sure seems to have no limits either.

Great pics! Hope you stop back in a couple years for an update. Great to see P aureosulcata planted rather than destroyed. Beautiful!

I also hit this limit all the time - it's for uploaded attached images, not images inserted via the [img] tag. There is also a 1000 x 1000 pixel max resolution and a max image file size, I forget what that is, 2MB maybe. You might get more pics on your site if you let people edit down to these limits after upload (I'm sure there are phpBB forum software extensions for that). Not everyone knows how to use a program like XnViewMP (Mac, Windows, Linux) to crop and then batch convert down to max 1000 pixels a side before uploading.needmore wrote:Strange, I've never hit a limit, I wonder if it is my site status settings Steve though sure seems to have no limits either.
As a workaround I sometimes do image collages via fotor for Mac. I'm sure you could also use an image hosting site like Imgur as a workaround, but then you are reliant on an external site for your images to stay around, and image sites come and go.
Or you can just reply to your own post with 3 more images per reply.
