Disturbed plant shooting

Post by needmore »

I've noticed that when bamboo root environments change bamboo will often send up some shoots such as newly divided plants may shoot, newly planted may as well. This Phy aurea 'Koi' was rootbound in a 30 gallon pot and almost out of soil, I planted it in November and noticed it has been shooting, also seeing new rhizome shoots this week on other 'fresh' plantings.

Must have a micro-climate here, this pepper plant is hanging in there but I've recorded 27.8F

That's a pretty fence Brad, so much nicer than the chain link!
