Another clumping bamboo. I found a broken piece with a bit of root ball and put it in a 1 gallon pot and it grew into this:




I know its probably wishful thinking at this point of its growth, but any ideas?

What I neglected to say is that I also had about a 20 lb root ball with no culms from the same grove. I "planted" it in the yard, and forgot where. OOOPS.

See if you can get a picture of the back of the leaves. If it's a B. multiplex, then it will be a bluish-gray on the backside. If not, then we can rule that one out.
