I'd buy that.

I know my 'Mei-Nung' has ginormous leafs. My leafs aren't shiny, but in looking through the pictures on booweb I see shiny leafs.

My 'Mei-Nung' is currently putting up a shoot that is scaring me a little... I got it, what, a month ago in a 3-gal. nursery pot. I put it in a 15 gal. pot, and I'm already thinking I need to either up size the pot again, or just go ahead and get it in the ground. I'll try to remember to get pictures tonight.

okay, so maybe I jumped the gun...

Next oddball guess.

Dendrocalamus giganteus (not the Quail clone). Maybe Deep South Texas is having an amazing impact...

I have both D. Brandisii and D. Latiflorus. Both have leaves about the same size. D. Brandisii is just fuzzy on the underside of the leaves. Neither one have leaves that big.

Not those either. Any more guesses? Several people have said this one has the biggest leaves of any boo they have seen.

Not Brandisii "black" (have that one too). Shane is going to hand you the answer as long as you look "under" the answer.
