RE: This is a test

BEEEEEP!

This is a test of the Emergency Broadcast System. The broadcasters of your area in voluntary cooperation with the Federal, State and local authorities have developed this system to keep you informed in the event of an emergency. If this had been an actual emergency, the Attention Signal you just heard would have been followed by official information, news or instructions. This station serves the bamboo web area. This concludes this test of the Emergency Broadcast System.

I discovered it was oddly easy to type this backwards if I just started reading the letters out loud to distract myself from decyphering the words.

I only made one correction to the backwards typing. I put a period on at the very end, absentmindedly.

The other 9 edits were various, unrelated experiments.

You should try it.

Then again, there may be other errors. I didn't check that closely.

Lance, its time again for the "other news".....

Thank you once again for your riviting correspondence.

Back to you, Ralph.....

Booking, you should be pleased. The now debugged Emergency message is designed to be broadcast from your budding Parvifolia grove in the event of an attempted burglary. I hear people have been seen skulking around in the woods nearby.....

I'm just glad there are others out there, so I don't stick out like a sore thumb.

But aren't you calling attention to yourself here?

It seems your psyche is deeply at war with itself. One one hand, wanting to hide. On the other, screaming "LOOK AT ME!!!! LOOK AT ME!!!"

I didn't say I was hiding. I just needed a posse to surround me from the bullets.

I don't have any woods by me, it's all suburban homes which destroyed the woods long ago. We use to have a small mountain which was gutted and turned into 800 condos for the super wealthy adult community.
I am trying to combat the urban sprawl with bamboos and trees. It's an uphill battle with the city saying we can no longer add trees with more than 6inch caliper trunks without their approval. I had secured a 35foot Lacebark pine{Pinus Bungeana} and they won't let me plant it. It's got a 14inch caliper on it. I wish I could grow some of the giant stuff Roy has down there in Fla. I would have 6inch caliper boos planted all over and there's not a dam* thing they could do because bamboos are not trees.
