bamboo vendors
I'm not sure if we should promote vendors here ...I know i don't plan on making any money off of it but Bill isn't back until friday...but i'll throw this out to see what comes of the responses.....The person i was going to mention sells clothes......not the ebay guy...although he buys from this guy....It is more to make some of you aware that you can get stuff from him direct.....email me if anyone wants info or we can kill the thread totally....don't want to create any problems......

Kurt,
I have no problem if someone asks for info. Personally, if it has to do with bamboo or bamboo fiber, I would rather know than not.
I've been meaning to see how others feel about Bill allowing nurseries or places selling bamboo related products an area to advertise to offset the costs. I would think a couple hundred a year for a small image would be very attractive to someone.

Probably many would be interested in advertising. As you, we, and I know, tyty advertises in many online sites and publications. But I'm betting that's not who you had in mind when you mentioned that. Silly me.rfgpiit wrote:I would think a couple hundred a year for a small image would be very attractive to someone.
I'm suprised Kurt that you would find ads annoying on forums. Just imagine if bambooweb.info had a floating ad of a bouncing basketball going all over our screen, announcing that if you can click it with your mouse, you win tickets to see the Nets and autographs*
Ok, maybe not.
*autographs will be signed by benchwarmers and ballboys.

Was the person that you were going to mention Rich Delano from www.bambooclothes.com ? No, you can not mention him.
Actually as long as someone is not posting ads for themselves I have no problem with mentioning suppliers.
Another source for clothing and yarn is http://www.ecodesignz.com/page/ED/CTGY/Clothing/
