Is it just me or was this forum more active before? Is there another forum or something?

It's winter time in northern hemisphere, which means there's only minor development regarding bamboos. Wait a couple of months for the boos to start shooting.

There is a bit less activity overall though. Perhaps some of the users moved to FB or just stopped loving bamboo.. naaah :santa:

Seems posts are way down since both Brad ahd Steve moved away.

The Thai and Pakistani hackers have not.............I have to delete their non-sensical posts every week.

I think it's because we used to get a lot of people that registered just to ask for help or had a question. And then out of a bunch of those maybe someone would stick around every now and then and we'd have a new active member. But at some point not long ago garden web forums got bought by houzz. Their bamboo page is basically a giant help forum. Actually most of their forums are. So people just ask for help and leave. Nothing of value or substance to keep anyone around. And no one seems to post anything of real depth there or give back much. Just post for help and run. So we don't seem to get fresh people through as much. At least that's my take and what I think is having a big influence on what seems a drop in activity here. (outside of your typical winter drop).
