Surplus for trade

Post by ChrisM »

I know many of you cannot trade this time of the year, but I have quite a few boo potted up and would like to do some trading. Some of these are from my divisions, some are surplus divisions from Byron ARS. If I have something you really want and don't have any boo that I don't have, I may consider trades for non-boo plants of interest, but am primarily interested in boos I don't have. Interested in cold hardy palms and banana.

Puiu-
The only problem with doing trades with people in the U.S. is that government regulations here prohibit bringing bamboo (even seeds) into this country without a permit and a year in quarantine. I'm not saying it can't be done, but there's a good chance that it will be confiscated and destroyed when it enters the country. I'd love to trade with a lot of people in Europe, but it's too much of a hassle. On the other hand, I don't think there is a problem if someone wanted to send bamboo out of the U.S. to you.
