B. multi. 'Golden Goddess' - free to a good home.

Post by mantis »

I have a couple year+ old plants in the ground that my wife has decided need to go. She doesn't like them, and considering the lack of space I have in my yard there is no room for bamboos that aren't loved.

So, if you are in the neighborhood feel free to stop by and get some nice size starts of Golden Goddess.

Mike,

If you do not get any takers locally, how about donating them to the TBS or Mercer. If you do not have space to store them, I could come over after work next Thursday and help you divide them and pot them up; and then keep them here at the farm until Mercer has a sale or the TBS sale in August. Let me know.

In Honolulu I drive past a yard that keeps these trimmed into a rounded shrub shape and they are quite handsome. You might enjoy having some smaller bamboo to mix with the giant jungle that is headed your way, I like to mix different sizes with the temperates but I think you'll have to prune for that effect and this species is a good choice if you don't get any takers on your offer. But then again I really like the layered look...
