Gene,

I have two plants but they are very young and have not run much yet. Jim Bonner usually has some available. Bamboo Plantation.

Thanks David. I know this is one that is more unusual, and I was hoping to find a fellow bambooweb member to do a trade with. I have looked around, and found it at a couple of the bamboo suppliers, and price wise, its not too terrible, but then add the shipping.... well, if I can do a trade, I would much rather do that.

Thanks for the input, I did not check them out, however, so if it looks like I am going to buy one, I will see what shipping runs from them.

Gene, I have some in ground but I've never propagated it, I'll keep you in mind if I do, I was thinking about it as a fall ABS auction plant.

Thanks Brad. Let me know, although I hope to find someone with a division before then. I am trying to talk my wife into going to the ABS convention this fall... about a 8 hour drive for us, so not as bad a some of you who have to fly in! with where we are located, we could probably meet up with a bunch of people, Sven, etc. from WA, and northern OR, and all rideshare down. Of course, my wife is NOT a bamboo fan, so for her, she feels about as excited about that as I would a two day shopping trip!

If I go, I may have to go by myself!

You need to market your idea a little bit better. You could go to the convention and she could have a 2 day (or more) shopping trip in San Fran! I think she would love that idea.

I tried to convince her it would be a romantic getaway, leaving the kids with grandma, out of town by ourselves...... she said we will see.

Guess I need to keep working on it!
