I'm growing a nigra 'Hale' in France , it's slow , but it's the real thing from Kimmei Bamboo in Holland http://www.kimmei.com/e.html . It goes black in a few months rather than a few years.
I was wondering if anyone has a nigra 'Hale' here that they would like to trade a division ?
I'm also looking for 'Allgold' and 'Kawadana'

Sound good , do you want S3, parvi and or prominens , I have couple of others like semiarundinaria 'Redfall' , and old gen Kwengsiensis that has stopped flowering. And some small vivax H inversa. Plus another Bamboo I could email the name of.

It's one from Bamboogarden , it does go red on the culms in the Fall here . I took one to Jos in Holland and he thinks he had the same plant years ago , but lost it . I'll make up some gallon pots of a few things . I think that S3 should be fine I have about 3 to go out and you will be one of the three . There are a couple of vivax H inversa that are very small but good shipping size.
