Hi!
I have three types of bamboo that I acquired through the community. They're lovely, but I have no idea what they are! Perhaps you can help: Zone 8 - Southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. (hopefully the photo links work)
Plant 1: About 2 feet tall, Culms: light green Leaves: Dark Green Variegated with lengthwise light yellow stripes. Some leaves are very light coloured with dark green stripes.

Plant 2: Also about 2 feet tall - maybe 1/4" diameter. Dark Red culms. Leaves: Long and thin - some are 6-8inches long. I think it's clumping as it was growing tightly and not using the whole container. Scabrida - maybe?

Plant 3: Tall sturdy culms, perfectly vertical. Probably 10' tall and 1/2-3/4 inch thick. Culms - completely sheathed. This year's branch growth is also completely sheathed. Peeling back a sheath is dark green with some white on the lower-end of the node. Leaves: thick dark green with a single yellow stripe right down the middle of the leaf. Person I got it from said it was a prolific runner. There aren't any shoots as I propagated through division.

Re: 3 Bamboo Identifications, please!
Greetings, I'll take a stab at some guesses:
1) Pretty distinct, likely either Sasaella masamuneana 'Albostriata' or Hibanobambusa tranquillans 'Shiroshima', my money is on the Sasaella but not much money
2) My guts says it is a running form of a Pleioblastus species
3) Photos not quite enough to be sure but looks like Pseudosasa japonica
