My henon flowered and died. No sign of seedlings. Still have a grove of nigra and nigra hale. I sent benon and black seeds to several members but no one reported the bad success. Rgds

Just noticed gigantea seedlings developing in ground. Estimate it took abt a year and 1/2 for the seeds to germinate. RGds

My pyracantha bushes produce berries in late winter. Several bird species devourer them when they ripen. The birds get drunk from the berry juice.

I had one grove bite the dust a year ago and have another grove well and alive. Seeds were not viable. Rgds

I sent a lot of seeds out to members and it appears none produced seedlings. I have seen seedlings for sale at a couple of bamboo nurseries whose plants had flowered.

I had two groves of Gigantea flower a couple of years ago, then flower again after another year. My experience is that the culms die off after the second flowering. I cut abt 60% of the culms down.
