I live in zone 8b/9a Texas. I have B multiplex hedges and they defoliated during our freeze (11 degrees F). There s new leafing out at the nodes but the new shoot leafs at the base are heavily variegated. Is this due to somatic mutation due to the cold and will the variegation hold? Other multiplex ...
