If a rhizome is brown does that mean it's dead?
Some of the rhizomes on my Moso seedlings are brown, can they still be alive and not be green?

Topkilled Moso question
I remember reading somewhere that Moso stores its energy in its culms. Does this mean that if my Moso is topkilled it will have suffered an even bigger hit?

Hi, I was getting some free compost from my county recycling center and I'm wondering if it could be too acidic for my bamboo?
