Strangely, My basjoo also has the same problem. Ever since I planted it in deep clay soil, it started producing leaves that are not so green and increasing deformed. Last year here the tc ensetes would not unfurl their leaves, you manually had to unfurl them & they were very brittle so many cracked. The basjoos with rotten spots sounds like tc meltdown as in tc hosta..canadianplant wrote:Are you guys talking about TC problems with basjoo or mekong, or both?
