Post subject:  Please I.D. mystery shrub

Not sure what this is. It has lots of flowers. 10 to 12 feet tall.

The leaves have fine speckles on the front. The back is a whitish green. Average leaf size is about 1 inch. There is a honeysuckle bush next to it so I know its not that. Thanks in advance!

Maybe search the various Elaeagnus species native to Missouri.

That was what I was hoping it was. perhaps I will have more luck identifying it when the flowers bloom. I know theyre invasive but they make alot of edible berries. Kinda pretty too. Thanks!

E. commutata is a real suckerer here and difficult to get rid of but the foliage is very striking. I remember E. umbellata out on Martha's Vineyard, never saw it, but the delicious fragrance you could smell for miles.

After some google research, I've come to the conclusion that this is Eleagnus Multiflora. Thanks for the help!
