Anyone have an idea about what could this plant be? It's really small and grows into pretty patches that remain green during drought even in sand and gravel around the house. It's 1cm tall at most, but it might get a bit larger in soil better than gravel. It tolerates drought and haven't shown any signs of stress because we walk over it on regular basis. Never saw such a tiny grass around here...

Oh, one more thing... the only place the thing grows is a couple of patches in gravel around the house. Seeds could be brought by wind - If the plants are tiny, seeds must be even smaller and lighter..

Forgot to mention... I did find out the identity of the plant. Thank you all for help! It's Sagina procumbens. It grows like weed in all my pots that got close to the one I was growing it in. It started flowering, flowers are nothing special, by the way, then it set seed... A LOT of seed and those tiny seeds sprouted in large numbers. Nice looking weed.
