I found these on YouTube and there are LOTS and LOTS of them!

The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.

Bamboo...Please note... This plant is seriously addictive and you may lose interest in other, less rewarding plants!

what a bunch of maroons.
they could at the very least have done some clump grooming/maintenance before filming.
you could watch their videos all day and learn nothing.

That's TaY TaY nursery, their website was hilarious a few years back. Out and out fr@uds though, they went on an offensive against any bad comments - some websites had to remove the neg@tive comments.

In one video they did show how to prune a Pomegrante(sic) Tree down to a stick.

Yikes....

I guess trenching and proper planting instructions don't matter much. I'm sure they've had many past issues with miss informed customers who now have damaged blacktop, fence and neighbor issues with runaway bamboo. What struck me where the videos with how the field hand show casing the product like a new car model would "highlight" a muscle car, the plant should sell itself by virtue of how it looks in the landscape not by odd hand gesturing etc. Anyway, thanks for the links Fox.

You've really been visiting dangerous Internet neighborhoods lately. That's a new category of material we should call bamboo porn!

I remember when you could read the reviews of this "nursery" on the site GardenWatchdog. They were the most disturbing and sadly hilarious reviews I've ever seen, and their customer service sounded like it was managed by a sociopath. Unfortunately, this web site was removed from the listings because the owner threatened lawsuits against the manager of GardenWatchdog unless they were taken off, and they didn't think it was worth the hassle, so they, unfortunately, complied. You can find reviews of 7000 other online nurseries at GardenWatchdog. but not these guys.

Yes, that looks like them. I forgot to mention I'd heard that those folks are doing business under about a dozen names...all with the same crappy plants and service. My general rule is that I only do business with online nurseries that are favorably reviewed on GardenWatchdog. If they aren't listed or have an iffy record, I don't give them my business. More than once I was about to order from a beautiful catalog (I actually do grow a few things besides bamboo), and tore up the order after reading the reviews. It's saved me a lot of money and frustration...
