This year the WSU grove cleanups in Puyallup, WA are on July 12th and August 2nd.
The groves are thinned to help with the Shoot harvest the following spring.
There will be numerous poles that can be taken home by the participants and sometimes there are divisions that can be taken from the area between the plots.

The first grove cleanup is over and we could not clean up the interior of the plots because with the cool spring they were still shooting. The results of the shoot harvest is also late but they will have the figures at the next cleanup.
A couple of people took a number of canes and we could have taken a number of divisions of Rubro, Yellow Groove, nuda and golden.
