They have changed the date and Location

2014 Annual ABS Conference will be held 12-14 September 2014
at The Huntington Library and Gardens in Pasadena California

I will post more information here as it becomes available.

ABS Southern California Chapter is very pleased to announce 2014 Annual ABS Conference will be held at the world famous Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens, near Los Angeles.

The theme is “Bamboo in Asian Culture” in honor of their expanding Chinese garden, new Bamboo Gardens and renovated Japanese Garden and expanding Bamboo Gardens. http://www.huntington.org/JapaneseGarden/

The Huntington has one of the best designed and curated gardens in the US.

James Folsom, Director of Gardens, is kindly hosting this event in appreciation for our assistance with their bamboo collection. We will have full use of their Conference Center, Classrooms and laboratories for the weekend.

Mr. Folsom will be co-hosting dinner for us at the Chinese Garden, a magical venue at night time!

Our guests will also have access to the Art Galleries and Gardens

Updated Price and Schedule.

I recieved an email from Cliff Sussman saying:
"We have decided to eliminate "late registration" and price will be $175 for the whole conference. Also we will have one day admission for $100 to accommodate local visitors."
