Hi all, just thought I'd share a couple of pics of a beautiful clumping boo that I saw last week while visiting a famous garden in Cornwall, UK.
It's a Borinda Lushiensis or Yunnan 4.
Must be 12m high with a spread of only 1.5m at the base.
Love the colour of the culm sheaths.
Unfortunately slightly too tender for my house.

Doesn't get much better than that. What a climate in Cornwall!

Yes, a great climate in Cornwall. No frost really.
Lots of palms and tree ferns in the gardens.
Also the best moso bamboo ive seen. Doesn't get very big normally in the UK.
Chusquea Gigantea also looked great.

Wow great pics ! Thanks for sharing that.

I just picked up B. albocerea yunnan 3 so I'm hoping for some nice mild weather for a few years here.
