I have three potted Mexican weeping bamboo and recently I noticed what appear to be seeds. I have several other of same type planted in the ground and have not noticed seeds. I’ve always read that once a plant or a entire species for that matter seeds, it means the end of the plant. I’m look for advise if possible. Thank you.

Somewhere recently I crossed paths with a note that someone had that bamboo flowering.

Just checked with Gib at Tradewinds and it appears so. Ouch, another pretty grove of mine bites the dust. Rgds

I had a clump of mexican weeping flower and die last summer (southern hemisphere). I planted hundreds of the seeds and a handful have germinated but the plants are not looking great. Did you try growing any seeds?
