Clumping Bamboo Footprint?

Clumping Bamboo Footprint?
I have some Kanapaha and Chungii which seems to be slowly spreading out towards my house. Does this clumping bamboo eventually stop spreading out or will I need to put down a barrier. Thanks.

I find Chungii to be a very open clumper that tends to eat up space and will continue to expand the clump, my plan is to take divisions off to keep it where I want. The kanapaha for me was less open, but one day you'll have the same issue with it.

Most 'clumpers' will continue to expand. So you have to chop them back every few years. That is what I do here anyway. I pot them up and/or re-plant them in other places on my property.
Happy trails...
