Unknown Bamboo ID

I have visited a previously abandoned garden that is now being taken care of again. It got completely overgrown , there are 3 different species of bamboo and quite a collection of various trees, bushes and plants. I'm trying to figure out what bamboo this is...
Bamboo seems to be an opened clumper, possibly runner. It forms running rhizomes, but it creates densly packed sets of culms around the area. Nodes seem to be fuzzy, culms are dark green with a brown-ish hue, they seem very dark olive green. Branches grow from nodes in large numbers, branches are short. Here are some photos...









And here's a view from the garden. They cleaned tgings up quite a bit already.

I'm realizing that I'm starting to forget my running bamboo days, as I recall Phy aurita has a fuzzy ring at the nodes but that is not a common bamboo. I might check photos later as I feel like there is another I had, I believe that S tootsik also does but even more uncommon. Do the Bashania have a fuzzy ring?

It is like 200 years old villa with a very large garden. The owner was traveling around the world and brought all kinds of exotic plants back home. Some of the plants were brought there later by neighbors and new property owners.
Exotic or not, all options are opened I guess.
Any Phyllostachys would have up to 3 branches per node, this one has many short branches without the dominant branch.

S. tootsik actually does seem to be a good candidate. Its culms were around 8m tall and around 4cm diameter.

Looks like B fargesii sort of but is it fuzzy? I think you are right that Phy is out, S tootsik is cold tolerant to the maybe -5c range? Could be a large form of Pleioblastus, a Semiarundinaria, a Pseudosasa form or a Bashania?

I intend to go there and check the.new.shoots or ask others to gather photos for me. It might be the only way to tell for sure.

-5C could be, it's close to the coast and has a mild mediterranean climate. It can go down to -10C for a short time, but it is usually warmer.
There are culms missing, a lot of them are dead (and removed) even below ground, it could be due to cold damage or they damaged them when they were cleaning up the place. There are also dry branches, same thing, could be dessication during the winter or drought damage.
