It will be tough to gauge the sun exposure on this one as it is pretty much in full sun all day on all sides, a very tight clump after several years, spreading less than the other Localis but I did have some culms this year come up out a few feet in 2 directions. Funny thing with this when I initially bought it as a small incarnata it top killed the initial couple of winters and was getting smaller so I dug it back out and container grew it to a decent size before replanting - it was easy to believe that incarnata was not very hardy but as nuda it would have been a surprise.

Do you think Localis is a tad hardier than nuda itself?

I have not noticed it being hardier but probably wasn't paying attention. Neither seem to be in a hurry to size up but will slowly keep gaining size & spread, now my old nuda runs quite freely putting up nice culms 20 feet out.
